Mabuhay from the Philippines! I'm Jackie, a full time mom for more than 18 years now. More than six years ago, my search on natural health began after a mom influenced our homeschooling support group on the many facets of health. She encouraged us to eat organic, whole &/or natural food. I started researching and learned about the merits of organic food and natural health (natural remedies, nutritional healing, etc.). I joined a local group, the Organic Producers Trade Association (OPTA) and met several organic farmers/advocates. I have visited several organic farms and restaurants in Quezon City, Antipolo, Tagaytay and Benguet. I attended several natural health talks by the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) of the Department of Health (DOH) and the annual conventions of the Philippine College for the Advancement in Medicine (PCAM) Foundation, Inc. Last year, I joined PCAM in my desire to learn more on natural health. Our family strives to live on an empty medicine cabinet. We use food as our best medicine and laughter boosts our immune system too as we yield our lives and rely on the Great Physician who is the Lord Jesus.
